Google Scholar

I don't know why, but Google even have the interest to specifically index academic publications...

According to Anurag Acharya, the principal engineer of Google Scholar, "We at Google have benefited much from academic research. This is one of the ways in which we are giving back to the research community. We hope Google Scholar will help all of us stand on the shoulders of giants." A very typical answer, though.
